The telecommunications watchdog Ofcom has said that it wants to simplify prices in order to reduce confusion regarding the cost of calls to 0800 numbers. At some point in the future calls to 0800 or 0808 from any mobile network will be free. Ofcom already tackled 0870 back in August 2009 and we expect that changes to 0845 and 0800 will follow in the near future.
